We are excited to offer custom wedding, baby, and gift registries you can access both in store and online. Our store has remarkable offerings for any occasion. Each registry is unique, and we work with individual clients to build a truly personalized registry. We offer delivery to baby or wedding shower-related events within a 40-mile radius of Bastrop, Texas (20 miles east of Austin). For clients who reach certain order minimums, the shop offers complimentary delivery up to 200 miles away. Creating a registry is easy – you can visit our registry tab, or contact us to help walk you through the process. Whether you come to the store with a clear vision or utter confusion, we are happy to assist you in curating a one-of-a-kind registry.
11 years ago, overwhelmed by choices, I handed the scanner to the woman at Bed, Bath, & Beyond. Naseem quickly crossed off her wish list virtually during her engagement last summer. For my daughter’s baby registry, I zeroed in on a local baby shop and gleaned their knowledge. Over the course of two weddings and a baby registry, we’ve cultivated some personal experience in the making of a registry. Here’s some of our favorite tips.
Cover the basics: Find your essentials, and work from there. During my engagement, I focused on classic and timeless styles, which left us with white towels and plates, simple and sturdy glassware and flatware, and key kitchen cookware pieces that are still workhorses in our home over a decade later. I wish I could have added our store’s collection of Europe2You’s gorgeous mugs and cutting boards, Farmhouse Pottery’s stunning mixing bowls that work just as well in the kitchen as on the table, and Jonathan’s Spoons perfect wooden spoon, ladle, and spatula.
Splurge on your style: One of my girlfriends was gifted an original painting for her wedding. I love that. If I could recreate my registry in our store today, I would add a small carpet to grace our entry-way, one of the original botanical prints to hang on our walls, and a reclaimed wood vase by Gary Guedry.
Add your favorite extras: In hindsight I wish I’d expanded past my bare-bones approach to both our wedding and baby registry. One of our favorite gifts from the wedding were some board games our friends thoughtfully bought off-registry, and I am daily grateful for the giant basket of children’s books my mom’s friends wisely gave us. Take time to register for all the things, big and small, that make your house an home. Add some candles or diffusers in a favorite scent, or a print that makes you smile. Include that Moroccan pouf, or the hammock. Register for children’s books, colorful swaddles, and sweet stuffed toys. Sometimes the best gifts are your favorite extras.
