Five Fun Things

We thought it would be fun to share a few fun facts about ourselves. Here are five from Naseem:

1. Favorite Brunch Spot: Hillside Farmacy (Austin) and Common Bond (Houston). Brunch is my favorite meal, and both of these spots do it perfectly.
2. Favorite candle of the summer: The surf candle by United by Blue. I can’t get enough of this scent – it just smells like summer!
3. Favorite new book: Surf Shack. I couldn’t wait for this book to arrive at the store. I love the gorgeous coastal vibes of the homes.
4. Favorite place to catch a movie: Alamo Drafthouse. My husband and I have always loved going to the movies for a date night, and Alamo Drafthouse is our favorite place to go for a movie.  Movie, great food, great beer – what more could you ask for?
5. Favorite meal I’m excited to cook: Crab and Avocado Salad from Food52: A New Way to Dinner. Every meal is tantalizing, and this meal seems especially perfect for the summer.
