Happy Holidays from the Lost Pines Art Bazaar Family!
Dear Friends, Family, and Favorite Customers,
Happiest of holidays from our little family business to you! We hope that you are enjoying some extra quality time with those you love this season.
As for our family, here is what we have been up to this past year.
Our store – We celebrated our five-year anniversary this September! It was quite the milestone, and we were grateful for the opportunity to celebrate. Unfortunately, that momentous time came on the heels of Hurricane Harvey, which devastated many of our fellow Texan’s homes, businesses, and communities. We were so grateful for the outpouring of love that you gave when we asked for donations, and we shared your aid with the Houston Area Women’s Center and Houston SPCA in our hometown of Houston. We were also able to share a generous cash donation with the Houston SPCA thanks to your support of our August Art Walk Artist, Leila Blanding. The year was filled with lots of great art, new vendors, and plenty of new home décor and gifts. We were excited to debut our store rearrange, which was the result of closing the doors for three weeks in August and literally moving every square inch of our store save two pieces. We also amped up our online offerings, including a fully customizable online registry.
Our Family – Kazem was grateful for some great family time, including a trip to Hawaii with his granddaughter Leila and a family outing to the World Series Champion Houston Astros. This year brought some surprisingly momentous news to Saba, Ben, and Leila. After four years of trying to expand their family, they found out this summer that Saba is pregnant with a baby girl, expected to arrive in February! Naseem and Ricky celebrated their one-year wedding anniversary with an incredible trip in the Northeast, and her three rescue Akitas were especially glad to move from their downtown loft to the spacious ranch family property where they get to enjoy lots of wide open spaces.
